Hi IL,

Will the subscribers be notified now when each of the moderators buy & sell a stock.  I would think we should get at least this much since there's a cost to this now.

Thanks,

15

15minoffame, it will follow a similar format to what we've done as shown in all of the chat logs. The difference is we are going to be offering seminars twice a month on Sundays to teach you how to anticipate it and place the trades on your own. There's a diference between following blindly on a buy and sell alert which we won't be doing. We won't be offering buy or sell recommendations. We will be offering 2 seminars to TEACH you how to anticipate and execute the trades. We'd rather CREATE a trader rather than have hundreds of memebrs just following each trade and not learning a thing.

I agree knowledge is power.  And what would real professionals charge to teach you to be a daytrader with real time trades and a go at your own pace style?  From my perspective you learn from your peers and your superiors as well.  In a way, some of the responses i have seen are a reflection of today's society where people think they are entitled to get everything for free.  So if you desire to be pennywise and poundfoolish its your choice, good luck in the future.

It is not a matter of getting everything for free, it was the sense of community that was created by the GOTS chat room. I have said I think a lot of us would have contributed to maintain that community, We were learning from our peers, as far as superiors I don't believe int hat concept I think we all had something to offer and with a new paid chat room there is going to be a feeling of entitlement that comes with having to pay for something. It just feels wrong to me, a lot like what Sykes did and he is only 29.95 a month.

Its not how you build a community, I know that Muddy and Laura need to be compensated for their efforts I just feels like there could have been a different way to do it. I am going to have to think long and hard about paying for the chatroom . I imagine it wont be long before someone else builds a similar community. there has to be a better way to build and support a community cause that is what a lot of us felt this was now it is going to be a service and that is what it will feel like.

websites are not free, and at these prices no one is going to get rich quick.  From a business standpoint, this is a more than fair way to those entrpreneurs who transformed their ideas into an actual product.  In addition this site provides me with the edge i need to be and stay successful against the stiff and unrelenting competition  out there.  Also there is nothing to stop anyone else to start their own free chat site if they wish, and if they do better more power to them.  But for now i will play on the winning team.
