In just my first day of joining Investors Live site and chat room I made over $3000 in 2 hours of trading. I highly recommend the site and look forward to sharing ideas and tips daily on the site with the highly credible and helpful members. No pumping and bashing like other sites. Just traders and investors who help one another find the hot stocks.
Today was very successful on the launch of the chat . We will have a few more options soon with different pop out options so find a size that works with your monitor and trading platforms.
Today if you noticed around 9:30PM you were booted it was for a good reason! We increased the buffer and backlog which should allow scrolling back a bit further during the day. If you are reading the chat during the day and missed something you can stop the scroll by using the anchor above the send button. This will allow you to scroll up without having it auto scroll when someone types. Once done reading press it again and it will always show the latest line.
If you’d like to clear the pan you can use the white sheet of paper icon.
If you’d like to view the logs since you’ve been in the chat and can’t scroll up high enough within the chat window use the icon on the right of the clear – with the small disk – this will show all logs. Yes, it doesn’t show time stamps but the chat logs do. We will begin posting chat logs at the end of each day starting tomorrow. The data uploads daily on the server and will allow us to upload it for all users to view.
Here are a few features of the chat. Individual user settings are found in the top right under the small gear. This gives you the ability to increase/decrease the font size, have alert sounds on/off, ignore private messages, and show fonts and colors (which I’d suggest because our moderators each use bold + color).

After many request to create a better system than continually refreshing the comment pages to view trade ideas and thoughts in near real time during the trading day we’ve come up with a solution. Instead of creating yet another online trading chat room and further saturating we’ve partnered with Muddy and Laura at Green on The Screen and Dark Side of Trading. We watch, play and share many of the same stocks and trading strategies. Whether its a bottom reversal, momentum stock in play or over extended chart presenting a shorting opportunity we play them all.
Please take the time to review the Chat Room Guide and Acronyms before entering chat so you can be familiar with how it’s done! Once you are familiar with how the room operates come and join us. The chatroom is moderated by Muddy, Laura, lighter and InvestorsLive please be respectful of this as they do an amazing job keeping the chat room on point throughout the trading day. Momentum stocks are discussed between 9AM and 4PM EST. After these hours off topic chatter is permitted, please help us keep this environment!

I’m sure a lot of people who are first time visitors are wondering what the heck are these two images below. Well, that’s perfectly normal and by the end of this post not only will you understand what both represent… you will hopefully decide to subscribe to our feed and stay current with InvestorsLive.
So what is that orange 
thing anyway? What does 
represent?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and of course if you really wanted to get into the history of it, you can always see it described in more technical terms, but for now, let’s look at RSS from a very basic perspective. Really Simple Syndication is essentially a news wire, being transmitted much like radio waves to whoever is tuned in. RSS allows us to create an instant feed to subscribers’ homepages via a syndication that only requires a request once. Instead of aimlessly checking the website each night for for a scan of potential stocks the next day, why not sick back, relax and let the scan tocome to you? Feedburner has an abundance of options for being alerted. Although adding it to your Google and Yahoo home pages is a really neat feature, there’s nothing better than an email delivery service which accumulates all post for a particular day and sends them each night.
The time of delivery is 11:00PM to 1:00AM EST. This gives ample opportunity each night for a thorough scan for the next trading day.
