Short Squeeze = MXC - Is MXC a Short?

Monday, May 19th, 2008

Well MXC is a short squeeze if I ever saw one, and yet it hasn’t even traded 80,000 shares today. Very thin and controlled float. Be very careful with this one. I’m sure there aren’t many if any shares to short but currently sitting at +9.00 for the day, I feel very sorry for those who are short. Although I do bet this heads back under $20 in the near term… its possible that it could still test $30. If you do short, you’re really asking for it. Be careful it might just be better to watch the professionals at work. Although its very tempting to take on a short here at $28.50 (just small) and let it pan out. There comes a time when it becomes to expensive to support at these levels because of risk vs. reward, but if whomever is buying feels they can get out at $35-$40 + a share its very possible it will break $30 this afternoon.

Sunday Night Scan for May 20th 2008

CYBS very bullish trend - watch for the $20 break. Its tried a few times back in December and failed. If it does break it… $22 squeeze is possible in the near term
CYBS

PVCT this is an OTCBB, PVCT.OB abnormal volume, watch for the $1.30 break and it looks pretty good for a short term trade on the long side.
PVCT

SOLF after being beat down quite a bit after their last earnings call its been on a tear latley off of the lows. Watch for the $23 break… if it can’t break it it’s a good short… if it can watch for $25+
SOLF

ONNN this has been consolidating through the $10 level and is currently sitting just above. This may break off to the $12+
ONNN

SYNM - This is up from less than 50 cents with the past 6 months. If it can hold up this will keep squeezing higher. Watch for the $2 break here - this could turn into a multi day squeezer over $2 it appears very controlled.
SYNM

SVR lots of consolidation around the $22 level, this should head towards $25+ short term. If it loses $22 it may test back to teh $20.50-21 range but thats probably about it, more profit on the long side in my opinion.

AUSE, BWEN, KYUS, FORC, LBAS vs. GTXO Opinions

AUSE watch for the move here - the past 2 days showed some interest added to our list HERE
AUSE

BWEN - the winner on the OTCBB side of things as far as wind energy is concerned. This may be well on its way to a blow off squeeze day in the next few days. It may spike over $25, it seems like the longs have the shorts caught with their pants down…
BWEN

KYUS - I think it still has another day or two in it before any major sell offs. You can view the front page of the mailer HERE. Monday may bring a move right out of open to get interest of those watching it who happened to receive the mailer this weekend. They’ll probably let the shorts think they’ve won a few times and squeeze them… and then… well .. we’ll see. But as I said in ever other post, TAKE YOUR PROFITS! The easy move is over… if you want to hold some, make sure its only a partial position just incase it does take off to $3+ range
KYUS

GTXO vs. LBAS - please review that article HERE. LBAS clearly the winner here it took off on Friday ending the day up 75 cents!
LBAS

GTXO such a similar story but chart leads me to believe they’re trying to hold it up for something else planned, perhaps more mailers. Make sure you review THIS POST on some of the articles dealing with GTXO.
GTXO

FORC surprisingly is still up, it dipped and came back quite a bit on Friday. This is a much different market and things don’t sustain for weeks anymore. Keep a watch for the $2.50 break, if it can’t break it… say hello to gravity
FORC

KLYG sneaking up under the radars - added to watch list
KLYG

BSHF breaking to new highs
